Day 1

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Walking out of Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are greeted with a wide smile by your personal Your Tanzania Trip guide: 'Karibu Tanzania - welcome to Tanzania!' The guide brings you straight to the hotel, so you can relax and enjoy the African atmosphere. On the next day you and your guide start an exclusive, private safari that lets you travel at the pace you like. With a safari jeep all to yourself, you are free to stop and watch the animals for as long as you want!

Day 2

A wonderful relaxing day in Arusha

Today is a wonderfully restful day, and you can spend it however you wish. Perhaps you stay at the lodge all day, enjoying the excellent service and cool drinks, relaxing beside the pool and soaking up the African surroundings. Or you explore Arusha with some interesting activities - such as a city tour, a mountain bike ride through the outskirts, or hunting for your first souvenirs at a vibrant Maasai market…

Accommodations:

Day 3 - 4

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is famous for big groups of elephants and huge numbers of giant baobab trees. Baobabs can grow hundreds of years old, and during the dry season elephants actually use them as a source of water, thanks to a special technique they have for drawing water from the trees. The Tarangire River is also the sole source of water in the dry season, which is why at that time you may see groups of up to 250 elephants in Tarangire, along with lots of other animals!

Accommodations:

Day 5

Gibb's Farm walk & lunch

At Gibb's Farm you experience the age-old rhythm of an African farm and coffee plantation, on the slopes of the Ngorongoro Highlands. Stroll around this peaceful, quiet sanctuary and see vegetables being picked, coffee roasted, cows milked and pigs fed. The farm's chefs draw inspiration from the vegetable gardens, herbs and fruit trees, and they in turn delight visitors with a delicious lunch. A small piece of heaven!

Accommodations:

Day 6

Ngorongoro Conservation Area (incl. Crater)

Ngorongoro Crater, well known around the world, is one of Africa's seven natural wonders. Two million years ago a huge volcano erupted, and that is how the crater was formed. Its fertile lava created a unique ecosystem, which is now home to the highest concentration of animals in the whole of Africa! In the crater you are surrounded by thousands of animals, including lions, zebras, buffalos and black rhinos, and the views are breathtaking – you won’t know where to look!

Accommodations:

Day 7

Flight to Serengeti (included) and the adventure continues!

Your flight takes you into the Serengeti, where your guide is waiting. Here your safari begins, in an ecosystem known for its endless plains, the Great Migration and one of the highest concentrations of lions and cheetahs in Africa.

Accommodations:

Day 8 - 9

Serengeti National Park (central west/east)

Serengeti National Park is known everywhere as the place for a safari, above all because of the Great Migration that travels through it. The enormous herds charging across the plains are impressive, and so are the many predators living here: over four thousand lions, over 200 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas and hundreds of wild dogs! There are many other beautiful animals as well, and your guide will be glad to look for them with you. Are you ready for this?

Accommodations:

Day 10

Flight to Arusha (included in the price)

A scenic flight brings you to Arusha, a lively city at the foot of the towering Mount Meru that is the gateway to the northern safari circuit of Tanzania.
