Right on Pongwe's stunning white sand beach on the east coast of Zanzibar, Toa Hotel & Spa is a lovely contemporary hotel whose 86 rooms are spread over several floors and buildings. With the turquoise Indian Ocean in front of it, the hotel offers three pools, a fitness area, a spa, a restaurant, a café in the lobby, a sun deck and three bars – one of them right in the middle of the pool. The rooms all have soft, light colours and good facilities: comfortable beds, a spacious shower room, a desk to work at and a balcony or terrace with furniture. Several rooms also come with a private plunge pool – among them the honeymoon suite, whose own pool is made for special romantic moments.
