In the heart of Tarangire you find Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge. Its 15 permanent tents (two family tents and one honeymoon tent among them) are roomy, made from local materials and furnished with care in ecru and wood. Every tent has comfortable beds, sofas, double sliding doors with mosquito netting to keep small uninvited guests outside, and a large wooden deck for watching the sunset. You can unwind on your veranda or at the swimming pool, which sits on another wooden deck looking out over the Tarangire savannah. Just behind the pool is the restaurant, where the chefs prepare fine bush cuisine from fresh ingredients. After dark a guard accompanies you to the main deck or back to your tent, with lanterns, solar lights and scented candles lighting the path and creating a lovely romantic mood beneath the African night sky!
