Little chem chem luxury vintage tent 7

Little Chem Chem

Close to Lake Burunge and the northern gate of Tarangire National Park, Little Chem Chem is a camp that blends luxury and vintage style in just the right way. Wildlife lovers will be in their element here, as all kinds of impressive animals such as zebras, elephants, lions and leopards live around the camp and pass through it (don’t worry, it is entirely safe!).

Green, white and brown tones define the camp’s simple, natural design, echoing the surrounding landscape so you feel at one with nature. The camp has six luxurious tents, one of them ideal for families with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, while the standard tents can also sleep one child. Every tent has a king-size bed, wooden furniture, a fan, a private veranda with seating and two showers: one inside and one outside. The outdoor shower is enclosed by walls for privacy, yet the sights and sounds of nature still come through. Be sure to shower beneath the starry night sky – it will take your breath away!

On top of that, the camp has free WiFi, spa treatments, a dining tent with an outdoor area, a lounge tent and a petanque court. The highlight, though, is the waterhole just in front of the camp, which draws many animals coming to drink or bathe. A wonderful spot to relax after a day on safari!

Please note: because the area is unfenced, the camp only welcomes children aged 8 and over. Although a team of guards watches over the camp 24 hours a day, parents must stay with their older children at all times. Younger children are only allowed when the camp is booked exclusively.
