Asanja Moru is a bush camp among the rocky outcrops called Moru Kopjes, in the east of Serengeti National Park. The camp has 8 ensuite tents (one of them a roomy family tent), each decorated a little differently using a mix of whitewashed and dark woods and natural fabrics, with comfortable furniture and an outdoor terrace with (naturally!) a view. The Moru Kopjes area is known as the spot where the migrating herds pass through on their journey south, with Gong Rock nearby (a rock slab that makes a metallic sound you can strike like a drum) and the salty Lake Magadi with its flamingos to the east. A lovely spot to spend the night!
