Set beneath the trees of an acacia forest on the southeastern rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, at 2310 metres above sea level, the Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp enjoys a beautiful location. There are 8 roomy safari tents (one of them a family unit), each with a private terrace and a view of the crater. After your safari, the lounge and dining tent are there for drinks and freshly cooked meals, while bush TV lets you end the day in style. That is, until you head out to be first into the crater the following morning, as it’s only a 10-minute drive from here to the world-famous crater floor!
