Close to the Bologonja Ranger Post in Serengeti National Park lies the Ang’ata Migration – Bologonja Camp. The camp is an hour’s drive from the Mara River, the scene of the world-famous river crossing of the Great Migration. From the end of July to October, Nile crocodiles wait in ambush and big cats on the riverbanks await the migrating herds. In those months you can drink your morning tea outside your tent while thousands of wildebeests walk past.
The Ang’ata Migration Bologonja Camp has 12 spacious guest tents (one of them a 2-tent family unit), plus a lounge and a dining tent. Tents are double or, on request, triple, with ensuite bathrooms and either one king-size bed or 2 single beds. The chefs prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner fresh each day, served in the dining tent. Finally, in the evening a bush TV (a campfire!) keeps you entertained, while zebras bray and lions roar all night long.
